History of Simplecoin
The Simplecoin exchange was founded in 2013 and is the oldest Czech cryptocurrency exchange. The current CEO Pavel Niedoba programmed the foundations of the exchange with a minimalist team and made it possible for Czech citizens to buy BTC and other cryptocurrencies with Czech crowns.
In 2020, Simplecoin was a founding member of the Czech Cryptocurrency Association, creating a legal breeding ground for the promotion of cryptocurrency businesses.
Between 2016 and 2019, Simplecoin collaborated with General Bytes, the world’s largest manufacturer of cryptocurrency ATMs. In 2019, it partnered with cryptocurrency wallet maker Trezor and implemented security features in its systems to transfer cryptocurrencies directly to Trezor without requiring the user to fill in addresses. As a result, it can also be found in Trezor’s supported cryptocurrency exchange comparison engine Invity.
Simplecoin has not had a single security incident during its entire operation, as it strictly adheres to security policies and processes for protecting the data of its users.
In 2022, Simplecoin opened up even more to the public and offered the possibility of personal consultations to those interested in Simplecoin services and Trezor wallets in the new customer center in Hradčany, Prague.
